I couldn’t WAIT to upgrade the Beyond Sausage and Just Egg I just didn’t think it would be 1 video! hahah So I decided to upgrade beyond and just to a McDonalds sausage McMuffin!

Using Beyond Sausage and Just Egg to make a breakfast sandwich

You'll Need...

  • any plant based english muffin
  • any plant based american cheese
  • 4 pack Beyond Sausage Bratwurst flavor
  • Maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp sage
  • 1/2 tsp thyme
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • kosher salt
  • Black Pepper
  • vegan butter
  • for egg
  • Just egg
  • Firm Tofu
  • Black Salt

Directions

  1. Thaw Beyond Sausage
  2. Drain Tofu and press out water
  3. Cut 3 slices out of tofu then using a 3" ring or mason jar lid cut out circles
  4. cut out 1.5" egg yolk circle
  5. brush top of tofu with pinch of black salt (season sparingly)
  6. heat medium skillet to medium heat and add 1 dollop of butter.
  7. place tofu then pour in just egg into yolk hole and fill half way
  8. stir "yolk" with pan to help scramble in yolk hole
  9. flip "egg" scamble again then fill the rest of the way up
  10. continue filling with just egg until fully cooked though
  11. Remove egg from heat and add to sandwich
  12. for the Sausage
  13. Remove casing
  14. add all sausage seasonings, syrup, and mix together well
  15. Shape into patties
  16. fry in skillet and enjoy
