Triplelupa shell!

Prep: 5 minutesCook: 10 minutesYield: 4 shellsTotal: 15 minutes

This Makes the Taco bell Triplelupa taco shell!

You'll Need...

  • 2 1/2 Cups Flour
  • 1 Tablespoon Baking Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon shorting
  • 1 cup milk

Directions

  1. Mix dry ingredents together then with Shorting in medium bowl
  2. add room temp milk and mix together well
  3. flour work surface and kneed to a soft dough ball
  4. let rest for 15 minutes
  5. heat cooking oil in large dutch oven or fryer to 360º
  6. roll out dough and form "snowman" with 3 equal size round humps
  7. each hump should be 5" round
  8. using parchment paper lower into hot oil folding like taco shell
  9. hold parchment paper until the bread starts to fry and will hold shape
  10. remove parchment paper and fry until golden brown!
