This Makes the Taco bell Triplelupa taco shell!
You'll Need...
- 2 1/2 Cups Flour
- 1 Tablespoon Baking Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon shorting
- 1 cup milk
Directions
- Mix dry ingredents together then with Shorting in medium bowl
- add room temp milk and mix together well
- flour work surface and kneed to a soft dough ball
- let rest for 15 minutes
- heat cooking oil in large dutch oven or fryer to 360º
- roll out dough and form "snowman" with 3 equal size round humps
- each hump should be 5" round
- using parchment paper lower into hot oil folding like taco shell
- hold parchment paper until the bread starts to fry and will hold shape
- remove parchment paper and fry until golden brown!
